A Midwinter Journey

Washington National Cathedral

A new immersive concert theatre experience for The Washington National Cathedral, A Midwinter Journey takes the audience on a pilgrimage for the 21st century exploring the secular role of a cathedral in public life.

Some of our best architectural wonders have outlived the intentions of their founders. Churches, museums, parks and other public spaces were convened to celebrate the values of their time, but need to be redefined for ours.

This rollicking evening, presented with dinner, dance, historical music and comedy, tells a new story of American history – through the eyes of the public square. The audience is taken around one of architectural wonders of the US in an immersive theatre experience for all five senses.
