This season takes us into the seductively murderous world of Renaissance composer Carlo Gesualdo; behind the complicated mask of Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges; and into the final year of Mozart’s life. We’ll also present two world premieres: The Imposter Unmasked, an immersive 17th-century masquerade where masks are currency, music exposes hidden truths, and audiences must discover the imposter; and Clara Schumann: Romance Variée, exploring the extraordinary musical and romantic partnership of Clara and Robert Schumann.

World Premiere featuring a musical and romantic triangle.
John Minigan has written a new play commissioned by CTW for three piano playing actors. We can’t wait to divulge more information about this special co-production with you. This is our second world premiere of the season.
